Black Wind Bell

Wind bells differ from wind chimes in that they have just a single chime. The sound is deeper with a longer chime note. These bells feature a laser cut tree of life or seed of life. The bell metal is powder coated in black. A single leaf makes up the sail.

Wind chimes have long been used, since ancient culture, to protect the inhabitants of a home. Tones have a healing effect on our bodies, calm our minds and awaken our spirits. The resonance and vibration of sound releases stress and emotional blockages in the body. The calming of mind expands conscious awareness and connection with spirit. Wind chimes thereby help enhance the mind/body/spirit connection bringing us a sense of peace and well being.

The Tree of Life is a universal symbol that has appeared in myths, legends and stories around the world since ancient times. It may also be known as the Cosmic Tree, the World Tree and the Holy Tree. The roots of the tree touch all that is hidden and growing below, the trunk (mind and body) connects to the branches which represent wisdom, harmony, protection, strength, bounty, beauty and redemption, among others.

The Seed of Life is formed from seven circles being placed with sixfold symmetry, forming a pattern of circles and lenses. This acts as a basic component of the Flower of Life's design. Leonardo da Vinci studied the Flower of Life's form and its mathematical properties. He drew the Flower of Life itself, as well as various components such as the Seed of Life. He drew geometric figures representing shapes such as the platonic solids, a sphere, a torus, etc. and also used the golden ratio of phi in his artwork; all of which may be derived from the Flower of Life design.
